Wow, awkward!

So, my ex and I went out to Japan Center and ran around being dorks for a while, and as we were walking against the wind down Divisadero, this old crusty mutton-in-lamb's-clothing couple of aging hipster burning man types stopped us to tell us that we win the cute couple of the day award.

When I said "Uhhh but we're not a couple," the fella said "Well, you're a couple of people, walking down the street, how about that!?" and then his life-partner or whatever said "Well, you two look cute together!"

ah jeez

Re: eep!
Actually it was really funny because literally moments before that, I was joking with him, saying "Gee why don't we get back together huh? We never had any horrible arguments, or got angry, or had any problems..." and we were both laughing at it. So, it was stupid like that. :D

Re: eep!
That's good. Akward moments are so...well....akward. It's nice that you can still be friends with your ex and be able to joke around like that. Somehow I can never stay friends with someone I was serious about. Oh well. :)

hehe he was an old man, so I guess he's over the homophobe thing. It was especially uncomfortable when it came to looking at the bedroom... had to jump in saying something about getting rid of the king sized bed...hahahahaha

Re: Hey There
Hiya! I remember you, and what a lovely film Yentl is, and the Cameo theatre, right?

Do you go to any other clubs around the big massive giant metropolis of SF?

Re: Hey There
I do sometimes..usually monthly or special clubs. I usually have to be in work by 7am, so clubs during the week are out for the most part unless I plan on suffering the next day.

Usually I either plan ahead, or let someone drag me out of the house. I also like trance so occasionally I go to thumpy thumpy music clubs. For dark spooky clubs it's usually Wicked City, Sin, the occasional Jezebel's evening. And then on even rarer occasions you have find me at an 80's club waxing nostalgic.

But yeah, even though I get up early during the week I can occasionally be dragged out of the house. Where abouts do you cause mayhem?

Re: Hey There
Lately I've been going out a lot, essentially any night I can summon up the energy and moxie to go.

This recent Sin! was my first Sin ever, but it was fun and i'll probably go again, I'm becoming a regular at Death Guild, and i've been to one Wicked City. I've been meaning to go see more shows, too, but that can take a lot more to motivate my butt out the door.
