My trip to Santa Cruz, while brief, was fruitful. I basically had to run back and forth between Bankers and Lawyers, the most wondrous, helpful people of all. It was a good thing, though. I signed a lot of paperwork which will make me a fully fledged homeowner in about 4 months' time. Weeeird.
The trip back was a lot more entertaining than the trip down, and I've decided that in the future I should endeavor to take Caltrain during daylight hours. So much wonderful graffiti and suburban sprawl to gawk at. I like trains. I love the crappy backyards, ugly fences, old dead refrigerators that invariably cluster around traintracks. It's like travelling straight through the bowel of a place, you get to see the least appealing part of a city that way.
I have more to say, but I'll save it for later.
