Amazing amazing art

I was in a pretty foul, negative mood, and then I saw This documentary about David Choe [quicktime] linked up via Wooster collective in my friendslist [Add their feed to your friendslist?]...

That was enough to remind me what i'm about. Sure, i'm in a pretty deep hole right now, but the one good thing that i've done lately is work on art. Everyday. I spend at least two hours (usually many more) drawing, painting, looking at and thinking about what I can create. The first few days were a little strained, but then something shifted.

It's no longer a task, it's not about trying to be more disciplined and serious and together, it's a pleasurable activity that I can lose myself in again. Fuck yes that's a massive boost.

Wow! I totally added the Wooster feed to my friendslist. Will check out the trailer at some point today (lunch?). Thanks for the pointer!

Glad to hear you are doing art! I haven't seen much of your stuff (just what you've posted here, and the cool collage you made for me) but I like what I have seen. And making art is good for you. Yay!
