mp3 shuffle

Ah this is a fun one - Take all of your MP3's, slap them in to a player and put them on Shuffle. Write down the first 15 songs in the order they're played, no matter how embarrassing or pathetic they are. A nod to tjcrowley for the meme - His 22 songs are over here.

  1. Pink - Trouble

  2. DJ Tomcraft - Loneliness

  3. Velvet Underground - Here She Comes

  4. Chemical Brothers - Let Forever Be

  5. Placebo - Commercial for Levi (huh?)

  6. Dr. Octagon/MethodMan/Redman - Tear Off The Blue Flowers

  7. Zoot Woman - Snow White

  8. Wumpscut - Down where we belong

  9. Gary Numan - Night talk

  10. Analog Pussy - JigaBabe

  11. Metallica - Sad but true

  12. AIR - Dirty Trip

  13. Cabaret Voltaire - Code

  14. Suicide Commando - See You In Hell

  15. FischerSpooner - Tone Poem

  16. Neuroticfish - Skin(Club Edit)

  17. Felix Leclerc - Le Petit Bonheur

  18. Tatu - they're not gonna get us

  19. I am spoonbender - Replaced by toys

  20. Hocico - Temple of Lies

  21. Funker Vogt - Tragic Hero (Apoptygma Berzerk Mix)

  22. Solex - oh Blimey

  23. Assemblage 23 - Awake

  24. the Smiths - How Soon Is Now

  25. Saft - Superstjärna

  26. Rasputina - You Don't Own Me

  27. Air - Don't Be Light (Hacker Remix)

  28. Diesel Boy - Techno Bass

  29. The Postal Service - Natural Anthem

  30. Gary Numan & Tubeway Army - Listen To The Sirens

  31. Coil - Ostia (The Death of Pasolini)

I'm actually not especially embarrassed by any of those. I might be if Justn Timberlake and Kylie Minogue had popped up, but luckily my secret is safe, for now. Nyeh. Then again, I didn't have access to ALL of my MP3s... That would be scary. Fun Meme 4 u.

I have no MP3s but that sounds like a really fun meme. Wish I could participate. Damn my lack of technologie.

Alternatively, you can throw all your 8-tracks into a big bin and draw 10 at random. :D
Feb. 18th, 2004 08:05 pm (UTC)
That could damage the high-fidelity sound of her KC and the Sunshine Band collection!!!
Feb. 18th, 2004 08:06 pm (UTC)
rest easy, though, MP3s are ILLEGAL and clearly tools of SATAN used to ensnare the minds of the young and lost. Speaking of satan, I've got to go...

Me, me, me too. I haven't liked "Cabin Fever" as much but the rest - yes. Have you heard the covers they did on "The Lost and Found?"
Feb. 18th, 2004 11:05 pm (UTC)
Heh, I don't actually own any albums by Rasputina, just the mp3s. But I only recently discovered them - What other songs are covered? Is it worth picking up?

Re: Actually...
On the Lost & Found... let me see. I have the first edition (there's a new one out, featuring "Bad Moon Rising," and "Fire and Ice" and I haven't heard those covers so I can't comment). It includes "Wish You Were Here" (Pink Floyd), "Tourniquet" (M. Manson), "This Little Piggy," "All Tomorrow's Parties" (Velvet Underground) and "Rock and Roll" (Zeppelin). It's good, but I think my favorite's probably the PF cover, because I love that song so much.

Other songs they have covered: "Brand New Key" by Melanie (one of my favorite of the Raspy covers) and "Why Don't You Do Right." I think they've done even more live.

If there's anything of theirs you haven't heard and can't find online, let me know if you want me to burn it to a CD or something for you. I have almost everything they've done. :)
