trees & servbot

I meant to put these in my Saturday post but i'm spacing out a lot lately. Here they are anyhow.

CASHEW SMASHEW KLOWN SMASH   weirdo x-mas trees at the embarcadero

Today is a day of me stressing out and feeling guilty. I woke up to phone calls and then Archie came by and he brought me Earl grey tea. My new thing. We got a new gigantic TV off of the street last night, a huge sony trinitron, and it actually works! Mother Street has blessed this house with so many fine items. I watched the DVD of La Femme Nikita last night to christen the new set. It's a glorious thing.

You should offer a small sacrifice to Mother Street, seeing as how she has been so generous towards you and your kin.

And you can kick me now for saying "kin".

Heh~!
Oh! You read our minds. We just returned from giving a great big 4 am offering to Mother Street. 4 big bags of clothes and a box of old software and books and videos, a half-broken stereo receiver and a mostly broken CD player!

Mother Street has been mighty generous towards my kit and kin. Or whatever.

Earl Grey
From the name, I'd always guessed Earl Grey to be a stuffy, bland, bitter tea. In reality it's fragrant, sweet and light. I love setting a big cup down to steep while I do something else, it fills the room with a great scent. Really nice kick, too. I recently read that black tea is supposed to be filled with all sorts of antioxidants so I decided to give it a try.
